I need YOU to stop and re-read that message!! This is true
in so many ways.. I was in my second year of college when I discovered I was
pregnant. At the time, I was living at home with my mother, working a part time
job and 19 years old. When my son was born it shifted my entire life game
plan. I tried to continue school, work
full time, take care of my son and play house with his father. That became too overwhelming, it affected my
relationship with his father and my ability to continue school. Throughout the
years I’ve worked towards finishing my degree with numerous breaks in between,
one occurring right now for approximately 4 years. I have 3 classes left to secure my degree and
have been on “ice” from school for 4 years… !!!! Because my current job pays
well and I am now on this new endeavor of launching my $10.00 makeup line, I
feel at times that there is no need to finish.
But I remember when I first began saying, “I can’t wait until I have
only a few classes left!” If I stop now, I’m keeping myself at the beginning
wishing for the finish line. I, at times
wonder why certain things haven’t happened in my life. But I haven’t completed the course, maybe GOD
is waiting on you to complete the course in order to move you forward.
So whatever you are trying to conquer regardless of how hard
it has been, remember when it was harder….. Push through the kickbacks, discrepancies,
doubts and emotions and JUST FINISH!.. Not only will you feel accomplished, you
have just set yourself up to receive your next blessing! Because your purpose
on this earth is to minister how great GOD is and what he has brought you from.
2 Timothy 4:7:I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.
Acts 20:24: But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
Ecclesiastes 7:8:Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud spirit.
We have been giving this life to live to the best of our ability. We fall, what we believe is short, through the journey of life and generally get back up bruised but strengthened. Each of us will experience either similar trials or unique trials but they will occur. Isaiah 54:17 says “No weapon formed against you shall prosper”. It doesn’t say that you will Not go through attacks. It is confirming that When the attack comes, IT WILL NOT SUCCEED. Stop and meditate on that verse and understand that GOD is saying …..live! I have your back through it all. How comforting is it to know there is light at the end of each tunnel; There is sunshine after each storm. It’s how you overcome that is important.. In our darkest hours we are looking for light and in our greatest moment we are looking for greater! Change the perception of your situation. You are in control of your circumstances whether you believe it or not! Only you can change the direction of your life.. but make sure to live it intentionally for excellence and you will always be prosperous!
Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve.”
From early childhood we learn about
relationships, from our family whether it be our parents, grandparents, aunts,
uncles, cousin to school relationships with friend girls, homies, boyfriends,
girlfriends etc. We also learn early about the joys and difficulties of
these relationships which create in our adult lives, boundaries and standards…
Now LIFE HAPPENS!!
Through the journey of life you have now learned
what relationships are causing you to question those boundaries and standards
that you have set forth. Is it worth it? Should I settle? Why aren’t they happy
for me? Am I looking into to this too much? What don’t “they” get it?
If you are currently in this space, understand
your path has been written with free will.
Free will meaning God has given us, to a great extent, the freedom to determine
our own future. The Bible encourages us to “choose life” by listening to God’s
voice, through choosing to obey his commands.(ex. Walking by faith and not
sight, not leaning NOT on our own understanding but trusting where God is
leading you by listening to him via the spirit aka gut feelings).
You are now in a space of growth and I know you
have heard before that everyone cannot go with you on your journey. You may
really want them to but you do not understand why there is push back from them
on anything and everything? Or why do “they” appear to be in the same place, in
your mind not growing or maturing? “They” are my friends and have been forever
but I feel soo distant from them! Well, it is because you are now finding
yourself and discovering your purpose.. YOU ARE NOW WINNING!!! Don’t look back keep looking forward and
listening to GOD.
Proverbs 12:26 “The righteous should
CHOOSE HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.”
Proverbs: 13:20 “Whoever walks with the wise
becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
Psalm 41:9: “Even my close friend in whom
I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.
In a world full of opportunities and opposition some struggle with finding their place. There will be many people doing what you do, selling what you sell, dressing like you dress and even network where you network. However, they are NOT YOU! Don’t be discouraged with what you believe is competition know that “When God Grants You His Favor Nothing Can Stop The Blessing He Has In Store.” They can DO what you do but they can’t DO what you do!!
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Hi Ava. Happy new year! I have had a chance to wear three of the lashes. There is only one pair I have not been able to test out. They are nice lashes. I like the style of them they’re very comfortable and natural looking. I like that the band isn’t really thick. I’ve worn them multiple times and they are holding up well as far as durability and construction.
When I saw this statement flash across my phone I had to
stop and think about it real hard.. I first looked up the definition of loneliness
which states, “Loneliness is a complex and usually unpleasant emotional
response to isolation.” This isolation doesn’t
necessarily mean being physically alone, you may have family and friends
surrounding you, and showering you with love but you are lonely in your
So many of us are scared to make the first move in our lives, homes, careers etc.. However, that first move is your first acceptance of faith. Yes, Hebrews 11:1: Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I attended an event this past weekend and heard some wonderful speakers but one caught my attention with her question. “What is your WHY?” That question pierced my inner soul! What is that “something” that makes waking up in the morning worthwhile? Well, making that first move in your life decision will NOT be easy or simple but it will be worthwhile if it contributes to your WHY! You will go through good and bad periods but you will be able to make it through them all because of your WHY!
Discover your WHY!!

“Your planted not buried, allow time for you to bloom through each blessing” ~ Sprinkle of Jesus ~
We all know that we are not promised tomorrow, so why are we not living for today? I can answer that from my own personal accounts.. Stress, worry, fear, fear of failure, rushing life to get to what we think is our happiness. However, each day is a blessing in itself, to open your eyes and be given that new mercy that Jesus shed his blood and died for us to have. We are in a hurry to get where we think we are suppose to be or should be in life. Let me break down what we truly are… We are seeds, ( definition of a seed ~ an embryonic plant enclosed in a protective outer covering) our heart and spirit covered by flesh and bone. Through our life journey God is watering our heart and spirit which is creating roots of experience, growth, understanding, strength, endurance…Once these roots take hold, a small renewed you begins to emerge.. Eventually breaking through the soil of fear, worry, fear of failure stress.. emerging a bloomed you. Ready to Live in your Truth!! So do not consider your current circumstance the end but the development….
Jeremiah 17:8 ~ He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.
Is the past, the past or is it still effecting your present and your future? When you think of the past regarding your life, do you think immediately of positive or negative experiences? Or the choices you DID or DID NOT make? It takes a lifetime to fully understand who you are, what your purpose is and to truly love yourself. I am still on that journey of finding myself and being happy with not only my choices over life but understanding how the past experiences have shaped me. Some may deal with a traumatic past experience and those experiences in most cases are suppressed to avoid dealing with the pain of the trauma. But I have learned to SIT in my truth and found that it has shaped me to be the person I am today. In my spiritual journey, I have become transparent allowing GOD to use me as a vessel to minister my experiences to those currently in need. I have discovered that my experiences have not been just for me but for others as well. When I found out I was pregnant at 19 years old, I was fearful of judgement, disappointment, disbelief and grief. However, the love I felt when I first saw my child was unimaginable but only GOD knew that the trials and tribulations of being a young parent would make me far more resilient than I would have ever been if I didn’t have that responsibility so early in my life. God TRUSTED me to go through what I went through to shape me to be FORD TOUGH and a living example to other young mothers, single mothers, working mothers etc… that even though the roads are bumpy having faith will lead you to victory!
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
